Stillwater Public
Library Foundation

More than $1.2 Million Donated Since 2007

As a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, the Foundation encourages charitable contributions from those who love the Library. These funds allow the Library staff to offer more programs, services, and resources than the City budget allows. Your contribution to the Foundation stays here in Stillwater and benefits everyone who enters these doors.

The Foundation’s funding is used to offer Sunday afternoon hours, host the beloved Wednesday Storytimes, hold the Summer Explorers program, Art Cart and Imagination Station for school children, sponsor “Wednesdays on the Lawn,” provide subscriptions to local and national newspapers and internet hotspots, and pay artist and supply fees for monthly art classes. As a partner with the Library, the Foundation provides the means to make the Library a community resource like no other.

Whether you are new to Stillwater or a long-term Valley resident, the Stillwater Public Library is a warm, welcoming place designed to meet the needs of everyone, offering insightful reading material, engaging programs, and many resources. Library staff is always happy to help and Foundation staff is always ready to listen to new ideas on how to improve the library’s offerings. How can we make the Library even better?
